Roast Beef and Gravy: A Simple and Delicious Recipe


Roast beef and gravy: a classic comfort food that is perfect for a cold winter day. The beef is roasted to perfection, and the gravy is rich and flavorful. Serve it with mashed potatoes, carrots, and green beans for a complete meal.







Ingredients

  • 1 (3 pound) boneless beef chuck roast

  • 2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted

  • 1 (14 ounce) can beef broth

  •  cup dry sherry

  • 1 envelope onion soup mix









Directions:



Step 1

Cut the chuck roast in half and place it in the slow cooker. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, sherry, and soup mix; pour over roast.

Step 2

Cook on Low for 8 to 9 hours, or until the meat is tender.
